Arkansas Nurse Aide Registry
The Arkansas Nurse Aide Registry maintains the state’s list of active and inactive certified nursing assistants on the state through the internet. If you want to be listed on the Arkansas nurse aide registry you must first take an approved Arkansas CNA training program. You must then pass either the
- Written test and Clinical skills test or the
- Oral Test and Clinical skills test
This is a two-part test that consists of a computerized exam and a practical skills evaluation. Acceptable scores are required on both parts to obtain certification. The staate exam is managed and given by Prometric.

To Verify your status on the registry, you can visit the registry online at https://registry.prometric.com/publicARK or you can call the registry which is managed by prometric at 800-818-8917. There is no fee that is charged in order to obtain the information that you want. You can access such information anytime, anywhere.
Arkansas CNA Certification Renewal
Arkansas CNAs must renew their certifications every two years. You will be required to show proof that you have worked for pay providing nursing related duties. If you don't show proof you may to retake the entire course again.
Transferring Your CNA Certification to Arkansas
CNAs with an active certification in other states can transfer their certificate to Arkansas. This can be done by obtaining a reciprocity form. This form can be found online on the registry website.
