If you are a resident of Sacramento and are between the ages of 16 to 21 you should consider enrolling in Job Corps. They also have training classes available other than CNA training classes such as, EMT, MA and PT.

This organization offers free CNA training classes to anyone who is over the age of 16. Their program lasts for 360 hours and the only thing that you will be required to pay for is the book. Also, they are a state accredited CNA training class. So, once you have completed the class successfully you will be able to take the state exam. However, by going this way instead of a hospital and nursing home you will not have a guaranteed job waiting for you.

Tuition free training is available depending on you meeting certain requirements. Call 822-5120 for more info. You will need to go to their centers to get assessed. Depending on how well you do in the assessment you will get called for orientation. Their classes are free but you still need to pay for uniform, state exam and books.
