Individuals looking for free CNA training in Hawaii have a few options. Nursing home and the Job Corps both offer free classes to those who qualify.

Certified nursing assistants in Hawaii must be able to communicate with patients, take directions, and be able to handle the physically demanding and stressful situations. Having a positive attitude toward working and learning is important.  A nursing assistant in Hawaii provides direct patient care while utilizing technical skills in tasks assigned by a licensed nurse.  They complete and document patient care activities.

The educational programs encourages the nurse aide graduate to take and pass the Board of Nursing (BON) test to become a Certified(CNA).  This will not only prepare the students to have the required training criteria, the student will leave the classes with skills they will depend on in today’s work environment.
