Students might meet the qualifications to receive free patient care technician training under The Workforce Investment Act for such options provided to the  Adult or youth program, dislocated worker program, Community Service Employment Programs or the Veteran's Programs.  The Workforce  Investment Act (WIA) in Arizona is federally funded by the Department of Labor and provides education and the necessary training  that is directly related to employment for income eligible applicants.

A good free patient care technician class in Arizona will also include lots of hands-on experience as classroom instruction cannot compare to the real-life situations PCT face daily on the job.  These additional certifications provide the certified nursing assistant with the ability to increase his or her skills tasks and to be able to carry out more complicated technical skills and to obtain more responsibility.

There are several colleges and universities that provide the patient care technician training in Arizona.  In addition to college training option, the unemployment agency has been known to assist individuals in your PCT job search after successful completion of your classes.  Once you receive your certification, graduates can contact the unemployment office that can aid in your search for employment in long-term care nursing facilities, local area hospitals, laboratory settings, and clinics where basic bedside nursing skills are essential.

To receive more information about the schools graduation rates, the amount of financial aid you might qualify for and any other significant information, please contact the training providers directly below.
